Certified Professional Leader™

The Certified Professional Leader Program uses a highly interactive approach to explore Leadership Development. By blending behavior theory, practical application, and personalized learning, students are encouraged to develop their full potential as a leader and to become the kind of leader they always wanted to have. The Program’s applied approach combines behavior theory with business practice, as each section focuses on central concepts and skills in an important area of leadership development. The program is made more valuable and the impact is made greater by the self-evaluation questionnaires and practical exercises that are used for personal development and class involvement. In this way, readers are equipped to engage with all that the program offers. The Certified Professional Leader adds timely subjects and activities to make it fresh, alive, and interesting for leaders in today’s workplace. It teaches concepts, principles, and skills of leadership in a way that is appropriate for both new and experienced leaders, as well as for the everyday person who must influence others to get things done.

This leadership Certification is uniquely designed to help leaders-to-be get ready for their new challenges and responsibilities. You’ll discover the heart, soul and mind of true leadership. Total of 12 days classroom training; split into three modules of 4 days each.


Exam – Achieved by passing three (3) online exams based on three separate training modules.  Each exam focuses on the material in the specific module and consists of one hundred (100) multiple-choice questions. The questions are primarily behavior based, so a good understanding of the material is required to pass.  Exams are timed and administered through our online partner – the Center for Leadership Certification CLC).

Why Certification?

Certification has long been a mark of competency and credibility. Project Management Professionals (PMPs), Chartered Financial Analysts (CFAs), and Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCPs) have all successfully used certification in their respective fields to distinguish them from their colleagues. Now managers can obtain professional recognition with the CPL certification.

CPL Exams:

The three CPL exams coincide with content covered in the CPL study manuals. The exams are comprised of multiple-choice questions that test knowledge, decision-making, and analytical skills. The exam is for 2 hours with 100 multiple choice questions. The exam will be proctored by one of our Certified Professional Leader instructors. Please note it’s a closed book exam, mobile phones or notes are not allowed.


The Certified Professional Leader Program is conducted in a classroom setting for 4 days for each module. Ideally these are spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart to give the delegates the opportunity to write the exam between modules:

1. Module “1” (The Importance of Leadership).
(4 days) This will cover the whole module plus revision.
Exam – 2 hours on a pre-set date.

2. Module “2” (Leadership Principles).
(4 days) This will cover the whole module plus revision.
Exam – 2 hours on a pre-set date.

3. Module “3” (Optimizing Performance).
(4 days) This will cover the whole module plus revision.
Exam – 2 hours on a pre-set date.
